Meizu 15 Series To Become Available On April 29: Leak

April 3, 2018 0 By admin

According to a new leak, the Meizu 15, 15 Plus and 15 Lite will become available in China on April 29, which essentially means that they’ll be announced sooner than that. This is a rather sketchy leak, and it is based on an image that you can check out down below, so take it with a grain of salt. In any case, the company is expected to introduce all three ‘Meizu 15’ devices this month, though Meizu still did not confirm when will that launch event take place.

All three devices have been certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) already, while the Meizu 15 and 15 Plus actually surfaced yesterday as well. If those leaks are to be believed, including TENAA images, the Meizu 15 and 15 Plus will have thicker bezels than we initially thought. Actually all three Meizu 15-branded devices will sport rather noticeable bezels above and below the display, while it seems like those phones will not use Meizu’s on-screen ‘Halo Button’, but rather a separate button which will be included below the display, which seems a bit weird considering Meizu is moving to that on-screen button. In any case, the front-facing camera will be centered above the display of the Meizu 15, 15 Plus and 15 Lite, while the Meizu 15 Plus is expected to become Meizu’s all-new flagship smartphone.

Having said that, the Meizu 15 and 15 Plus are actually expected to sport the same dual camera setup on the back, both devices will include 12 and 20-megapixel snappers, while a 20-megapixel camera will be included on the front side of both devices. The Meizu 15 will ship with a 5.46-inch fullHD display, while the Meizu 15 Plus is expected to include a 5.95-inch QHD panel, and we’re looking at a regular 16:9 display aspect ratio here, it seems. The Meizu 15 Plus will probably arrive with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM on the inside, and we still do not know what SoC will fuel the device, but you can expect a flagship processor to be included here. The Meizu 15 Lite, on the other hand, will sport a mid-range chip, while the Meizu 15 is still a mystery in that department, even though that handset will probably also ship with a mid-range processor.
